Who We Are
Peter Stewart is the Creative Director of SonosKing and his passion for great sound, top quality audiovisual equipment and love of music was the primary motivator for establishing SonosKing.
Peter’s passion for creating SonosKing was that he wanted to help people get genuine superior sound and enjoy the best home entertainment experiences. He visited numerous audio visual stores and manufacturers throughout Australia, Europe, US and Japan in the process of selecting the right products and discovered it’s not how much you spend but how you put it together that counts.
With many friends and business associates asking Peter for his advice when choosing audiovisual equipment, he recognised the need for a more personalised service offering expert advice in a relaxed environment. Since then SonosKing has been helping people discover how to really enjoy the family home or their place of business through great design and innovative products.
What We Do
We provide top end audiovisual, entertainment and home automation solutions individually customized for homes and businesses.
Following the initial consultation we meet with our clients’ onsite to evaluate and discuss their needs. We look at the scope of the project, budget and other issues which contribute to an outstanding result.
Our aim is to provide unique lifestyle and entertainment solutions individually tailored, coupling custom designed cabinetry, home automation and home cinema solutions through CinemaKing.

SonosKing is a complete solutions provider for time poor families and individuals who realize that they need an entertainment/ lifestyle makeover for their homes but don’t know how to go about it or don’t know of a skilled professional that they can consult.
We offer a personalized service where customers can make an appointment to view/ hear our products – on Saturdays and Sundays or during the week – or even after traditional business hours. Our clients will experience our products during a one to one demonstration and the environment is relaxed.
The showroom at Planera, 41 Madden Grove, Richmond allows clients to experience entertainment solutions in elegantly furnished settings that closely resemble home and apartment living.
We are passionate about smart technology and we keep abreast of all new developments in our areas of expertise. We embrace technological advancements that are high quality and cost effective – always referring to the needs of our clientele. We have been quick to recognise the rising popularity of digital music, and through extensive research and training are able to offer expert advice on the installation, equipment and functionality.
In addition to the residential business we have also completed projects for a range of corporate clients from corporate boxes at the MCG, hair dressing salons, a hospital, a nursing home and retirement village, dental surgeries’, cafes, society restaurants, numerous showrooms and a Sunseeker luxury motor yacht that I wish was mine.
